new cover art: song of rebels

based on lenin’s october revolution, this song romanticises the rise of discontent and the emergence of a rebellion. sometimes it only takes a few rebellious minds to give the government and politicians a few impulses to rethink. and sometimes big changes can only be achieved through riots and unrest, through an uprising from the centre of society, through a revolution. these thoughts led me to write the song of the rebels. check it out now.

reworked lyrics: life artist

this song is a brutally honest reflection on unreciprocated love, told from the perspective of someone who lives life with passion and intensity, a true hedonist, a “life artist.” the metaphor of painting runs through the entire lyric, symbolizing the emotional exposure and vulnerability that comes with loving someone who never truly saw or understood the depth offered to them.
the track’s raw style mirrors the narrator’s inner unrest: reduced to sharp lines and cold colors, the song captures what it means to give your all and still be dismissed. what started as a masterpiece of feeling turns into a work abandoned, unfinished, distorted, and painfully personal. check it out now.

new lyrics: don’t stray

one click. one pill. one path you can’t return from.
‘don’t stray’ retells the story of little red riding hood in a modern context, but this time, the dark forest is the internet itself. Its endless paths are full of temptations, promises, and hidden dangers: some harmless, many harmful, all demanding attention. the wolf that Red encounters is not just a single enemy, but a stand-in for the countless threats that lurk online. in the lyric, it takes the form of a drug, a metaphor for the addictive, destructive forces that wait in disguise. just as the old stories warned children not to stray from the path, this song warns of the predators and pitfalls that take on new forms in our networked world.
at its heart, Red still symbolizes innocence, naivety, and the curiosity of youth, qualities that remain as vulnerable today as they were in the fairy tale. the creative driver for this song was the realization that while the landscape has changed from forest to internet, the dangers remain the same: unseen, seductive, and merciless to those who wander unprepared. ‘don’t stray’ is a stompable, high-voltage electronic track that transforms a timeless parable into a modern warning. the beat is relentless, the message urgent: don’t wander blindly into the forest of the web. check it out now.

new covert art + lyrics: shades of red

the initial spark for the cover was the idea of showing the colour contrast of a strong red on a white background. at first, of course, the fairy tale of snow white came to mind, which is all about this colour contrast. it was precisely this idea of blood in the snow that formed the basis for telling the tale of woe of a soldier carrying a red flag in the middle of the coldest winter ever and trying to hold it up until the end despite being wounded, when the flag lies buried in the snow next to him and his blood flows into the ground, that’s when the different shades of red blur together. check it out now.

new cover art + lyrics: bogeyman

he’s under the bed — and he remembers everything you did wrong.
‚bogeyman‘ brings a childhood nightmare to life with eerie rhyme and a rhythm that creeps under your skin. told from the perspective of the creature itself, the song revives the archetypal fear of the unknown: the thing in the dark that punishes misbehavior and whispers consequences when parents no longer can.

the creative impulse behind this track came from the age-old concept of using fear to enforce discipline. the ‚bogeyman‘ isn’t just a monster, he’s a tool, a myth, a bedtime enforcer designed to make children behave. but in this version, the figure has a voice of his own, relishing the role he’s been given. with verses that escalate from toy theft to psychological torment, ‚bogeyman‘ shows how even the most innocent tales can harbor real cruelty. it’s a modern cautionary song, delivered in a sinister nursery rhyme cadence, playful, yet deeply unsettling. check it out now.

new cover art + lyrics: evil grin

‚evil grin‘ is one of the most personal and painful lyrics i’ve written. it tells the story of someone fighting cancer—a slow, cruel battle that strips away strength, time, and dignity. the ‚evil grin‘ in the chorus isn’t just a metaphor for the disease itself, but also for the way it seems to mock both hope and resistance. i wrote this piece not only as a tribute to the people i’ve known who’ve faced this kind of suffering, but also as a way to confront the feeling of helplessness that surrounds terminal illness. the lyrics channel defiance in the face of death—because even if the war can’t be won, there’s meaning in the fight. check it out now.

the concept for this cover art was decided relatively quickly after i started writing the text for ‘evil grin’. as a symbol for a disease that eats you up from the inside out, i wanted to show a maggot peeking out of a ripe fruit. while the cherry still looks totally juicy and fresh in the light, you can already see the damage the maggot has done on the shadow side. check it out in the gallery.

new cover art: stosstrupp

looking for a visual analogy or metaphor for sperm on their selfish and quarrelsome way to the egg, i finally came up with the idea of cockroach-like insects. since i can imagine these insects, similar to ants, very orderly, almost in lockstep, this visual realisation also underlines the text title itself: ‘stossstrupp’. check it out now.

new cover art: your scream

this is the first in a new series of cover works, and it represents the lyrics of ‘your scream’. inspired by the mythological construct of a banshee, a female spirit in irish folklore who usually announces the death of a family member by screaming, shrieking or wailing, i wanted to visually capture that very scream with this cover. check it out in the gallery.

i’m back with new lyrics: steriliser

wow! completely unplanned, but exactly to the day … after a 7-year break from writing, i’m finally back … it’s been burning under my nails for quite a while, and now i’m writing again.

and ‘steriliser‚ is the first of three new texts that are part of the concept album ”steinschlag“. it describes the pathological and delusional state of mind of the first-person narrator, who, obsessed with purity, wages a crusade against imperfection. the world and everything around him must be clean, sterile and uncontaminated, and he will use any means necessary to achieve his goal. a disturbing, clinical descent into madness, in which control turns into cruelty. the chorus pulsates like a disinfectant rush. check it out now. check the cover out in the gallery.

new lyrics: trenches

‚trenches‘ explores the devastating inner experience of living with cancer, a disease that slowly turns your own body into hostile ground. the lyrics use war as a metaphor: not to glorify the fight, but to capture the exhaustion, fear, and isolation that come with battling an invisible enemy from within. inspired by the personal stories of those who face chronic illness and physical decline, ‚trenches‘ gives voice to the mental and emotional weight of fighting something that feels larger than yourself, while refusing to give in. the imagery is stark, symbolic, and grounded in the quiet resilience of not surrendering. check it out now.
